In an attempt to monitor the manufacturing processes and review for incidents Nucor Steel, the United States’ largest producer of steel, has deployed ipConfigure’s ESM 5.0 with the help of the company’s Video Surveillance Appliance (VSA). The turnkey solution was uniquely built for Nucor with a RAID1 HDD configuration giving the steel manufacturer redundancy and a hard disk drive. The VSA will also be Active Directory compliant which will allow system administrators to limit the access of specific users from specific features and functionalities.
