LPR Interface
![]()
The License Plate Recognition (LPR) software plugs in seamlessly to ESM. ipConfigure’s LPR uses the same web browser user interface to expose the operator to its powerful feature set. The benefit to the users is that interface remains unified across the surveillance system. Search, Real-Time, and Watch List interface pages are organized by tabs which enable operators to easily view, sort, watch, and monitor license plate data has been stored or is being captured in real-time.

The LPR search interface provides various ways to find what you are looking for. Whether you use a start and end date or input a specific plate number, LPR allows a quick and easy way to discover license plates in your system. When the search is initiated, a list of plates that match the specified search by the user will appear on the bottom of the screen. Once the specific plate is found, the user may click on the tag and see a still image along with a video clip. Plate images can be verified by user, added to the watch list, and exported. |
The Real-Time feature provides automatic detection of vehicles as it happens. Operators can determinewhether the plate was found on the LPR Watch List, or is new data. Users have the capability to set a refresh rate for up to the minute results Once a tag image has been captured users may zoom in on the image of the plate to verify the results and to glean additional information such as the color, make and model.__ |
The Watch List feature is a very powerful component of the LPR interface. Specific watch lists may be created by the user. Vehicle tags may be added or deleted from any specified list. Another way to add a vehicle to the Watch List is from the action pane on the Search and Real-Time tab When a vehicle is placed on a Watch List, a red flag will appear beside the tag number whenever it appears on the Search and Real-time views. This red flag alert allows users to quickly identify watched vehicles and take appropriate action. |
